Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, and traditional Italian entrees
Develop and refine recipes to ensure high-quality taste and presentation
Plan and design menus that reflect Italian culinary traditions
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency
Oversee kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance the dining experience
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Italian Chef or in a similar culinary role
Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
Creativity and ability to develop innovative and authentic Italian dishes
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
