Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Assistance: Assist insulators in installing and repairing insulation on pipes, ductwork, and other mechanical systems.
Preparation: Prepare surfaces for insulation by cleaning and applying adhesives or other materials as needed.
Material Handling: Transport and handle insulation materials and tools to and from the work site.
Installation: Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials to pipes, ductwork, and other structures.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain and organize tools and equipment used in insulation work.
Support: Provide general support to the insulation team, including holding materials in place and assisting with cleanup.
Skills:
Basic understanding of insulation materials and installation techniques
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces
